Pomona Host Lions Club
Distributing Free Books to First Graders
We Serve
Our club has been serving the City of Pomona and beyond for over 100 years. We are part of Lions Club International (LCI), which is the largest service organization in the world. Lions clubs provide many services within our communities, and on a global scale provide financial aid in disaster relief such as the recent earthquakes and floods that have occurred around the world.
Locally, Pomona Host Lions serve in many ways including, preparing food monthly for the Pomona Homeless Services Center, Hope for Home, supporting literacy with hundreds of book giveaways to first graders in the Pomona Unified School District and managing several Little Free Libraries in Pomona. We provide eyeglasses through the Lion’s eyeglass recycling program and free vision screenings. We also prepare care bags for the homeless and collect non-perishable food for the local food pantry.
Please contact us about membership or any other questions. Send us a message, we would love to hear from you.
